EYLF Learning Outcomes

At E-Maison International Pre-School, we have thoughtfully integrated the Learning Outcomes from the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) of Australia into our Reggio-inspired approach, as they perfectly align with our commitment to fostering holistic development in young children. The EYLF emphasises three core pillars: Belonging, Being, and Becoming, which serve as a foundation for nurturing children from birth to five years.

Key Learning Outcomes

Outcome 1: A Strong Sense of Identity
We prioritise cultivating self-awareness, self-worth, and resilience in our students. This outcome encourages children to explore who they are, fostering confidence and an understanding of their unique identity within the classroom and beyond.

Outcome 2: Connection to the World
Children learn to recognise their role within their communities, developing a sense of social responsibility. This outcome is vital for nurturing relationships and understanding the importance of contributing positively to the world around them.

Outcome 3: Wellbeing
Our focus on the holistic health of each child encompasses social, emotional, mental, and physical well-being. We promote healthy habits and self-awareness, enabling children to take responsibility for their own health and safety.

Outcome 4: Confident and Involved Learners
We encourage curiosity, persistence, and creativity, allowing children to explore their interests and develop problem-solving skills. This outcome fosters a love of learning that empowers children to be active participants in their educational journey.

Outcome 5: Effective Communicators
Our environment emphasises both verbal and non-verbal communication, engaging children with various forms of text and media. This outcome equips them with the skills to navigate and understand the world of symbols and digital technologies.

Core Pillars Underpinning Our Approach

The EYLF also emphasises the significance of three concepts that reflect a child’s life journey:
Belonging: Understanding where and with whom they belong—a sense of connection to family, culture, and community.

Being: Valuing the present moment, which highlights the importance of the “here and now” in a child’s life and experiences.

Becoming: Acknowledging the rapid changes and growth that occur during early childhood, as children continually learn and evolve.

By embedding the EYLF Learning Outcomes into our Reggio-inspired approach, E-Maison International Pre-School creates a rich and inclusive environment that nurtures every child’s unique journey. Our commitment to these outcomes ensures that children not only thrive academically but also grow as confident, compassionate, and engaged members of their communities.
